I want to go beyond the typical "boundaries" conversation and really talk about cultivating energetic sovereignty - which is much more authentic and long-lasting than setting a boundary. Boundaries, as often talked about in our culture, can be related to defensiveness. People set boundaries because someone else did something first. This is actually reactive and only effective in the short term. Cultivating the energy field and the "Big S" sense of Self, in combination with your quest for your inner truth and alignment with the Divine, will naturally give you an energetic sovereignty. You do not need to defend yourself, your worth, your value, or the truth of who you are with standard "boundaries." Rather, you need to cultivate clarity, and the boundaries take care of themselves.
